Russian / Signs and the ya-yu-yo family
Ёё
The letter “ё”
/yo/
Ё ё sounds like yo, as in "yolk". Two dots turn Е into Ё: say "yo", not "ye".
Where is Ё on the keyboard?
On Russian Phonetic, ё is on the key QWERTY prints as "`", left little finger. On ЙЦУКЕН it is on the key QWERTY prints as "`", left little finger. Both layouts put it on the same physical key, so this is one of the few letters you do not have to relearn when you switch.
